Also, she served on several high-profile projects like His Holiness Pope John Paul II’s visit, the United Nations 50th Anniversary, and the Centennial of NYC. The New York Times featured a Public Lives profile piece on Marcia.
After 8 years of working for the Mayor, Marcia started a consulting business where she organized the Ground Zero visit by President George Bush and produced the syndicated presentation of A Prayer for America-9/11. The production was hosted by Oprah Winfrey and was nominated for a Daytime Emmy. Additionally, her clients included: Prada, Republican National Convention, Time Warner/AOL and Rockefeller Center.
Marcia relocated to the Midwest after getting married and focused on a fundraising career path. First as the Chief Development Officer for Riverfront, a multi-state foundation serving adults with disabilities, then as Executive Director for Mercy Health System Foundation, a comprehensive health and hospital system throughout southeastern WI and IL. She has served as a Board Member for YWCA, the Humane Society and many other organizations.
For Mitt Romney, Marcia worked on strategic planning for the White House transition in D.C. Currently, Marcia resides in Laguna Niguel with her husband Howard and their three beloved pets. She is a member of Saddleback Church and feels blessed to work at Trinity where people advocate for justice and honor the glory of God.
