Saturday Classes

At Trinity Law School, qualified students who start in the fall semester have the unique opportunity to earn their Juris Doctor degree entirely through Saturday coursework.

When can I start Saturday classes?

The Saturday class option is only available to new students starting in the fall semester. Saturday classes are not available to new students who start in the spring semester. If you start as a new student in the spring but wish to take Saturday classes, you would not be able to do so until the following fall semester. GPA requirements still apply.

What are the requirements to be allowed to take all my classes on Saturday?

Students who start at Trinity with an LSAT of 145 or higher are permitted to take nine units of class time in a single day. This allows those qualifying students to take all the required first semester classes on Saturday. In later semesters, those students with a cumulative GPA of B- (2.66) or higher can continue to take nine units of class time in a single day, and thus can continue to complete the program by taking classes only on Saturday.

Am I allowed to take classes on Saturday even if I plan on taking the rest during the week?

Yes. All students are allowed to take Saturday classes. The additional requirements mentioned above only apply if you plan on taking nine hours in one day.

How many classes would I take each Saturday?

Fall and Spring semesters: Three. Summer semesters: Two.

At what times are the Saturday classes offered?

Though some classes may vary, most classes will begin at 9:00 am, 1:00 pm, and 5:00 pm.

What happens if I need to retake a course?

If this is the case, you’ll be required to take it during the week, since it won’t be re-offered on a Saturday within the four-year cycle.

What would my schedule look like over the next four years?

My schedule is wonderful. I can attend during the day, in the evening, and even on Saturdays. I’m full-time, but I still have flexibility.
